You need a Dice, a USB driver for the Dice installed and the connection software they use which they can send by Team Viewer or Skype. I have successfully cloned hundreds of ETMs (throttle modules) for my module replacement business as well as a handful of ECMs, CCMs, BCMs, DDMs and PDMs and CEMs by using Henry or Sergey's services (MVS username Doublebug and Yagger). The cloned Dice tools can now be recognized by Volvo's servers and are rendered useless unless they are genuine Dice tools.īut read on (there is hope yet!!) as I and many others here have successfully replaced/reloaded software on our modules by using a cloned Dice connected to a couple of guys who are forum members here who have managed to extract the software (actually it is firmware we are replacing not software)

To get any cracked version to do updates via Volvo's server is impossible because of the security measures in place. You CAN get a temporary Vida License from and use a genuine Dice tool IF you can afford one.

There is no way to get VIDA 2015- working without a VIDA subscription which is too cost cost prohibitive for DIY.
In 2015 Volvo moved the database from a local server (localhost) to a internet based server. It won't hurt to read all the way through the thread, there are a few tweaks in there that are not included in the RePack. Your find everything you need here on page 1 and page 6. For your 2002 V70 2.4T your best path is use the 2014D_RePack.

The RePack is script based install that is the accumulation of all or most of the hacks that where done in the past.Ģ014D was written in 2015 and does include at least the first quarter data for 2015 cars. Back then there where a lot of issues due to the issues of IE11 being written for Windows 8 and VIDA 2014D had installer setting that would only allow it to be installed on Windows 7 pro. The community figured out hack the local server settings so that it run without any external connections or a VIDA subscription.
